DIY Wedding Prom Pictures

I am not a fan of those “i need so much attention” brides or those “this has nothing to do with the couple” weddings.  I wanted our wedding to be so much fun for everyone involved and for our wedding to truly reflect us as a couple.   I have been to quite a few boring weddings with no activities for those of us who prefer not to dance, so when I saw this DIY Photo booth template over at Martha Stewart Weddings I knew we had to make it.  The best part about this idea is that the template is free and everyone loves fun prom like photos.  Everyone had such a blast taking these.

How much did it cost? Did you do it at FedEx Office like the site recommended?

I actually have no idea how much it cost because one of my bridesmaids had it printed for me. Sorry for not being much help.

I’m planning on having a photobooth as well. What did you use to hang up the background?
    Cheers.

My wedding day was so crazy and one of my bridesmaids actually hung it up for me but I think she just taped it to the wall.

Did you get a professional photogropher to take the pictures, or did people use their own cameras? Thanks.

We had a professional photographer at the wedding but lots of people did use their own cameras too. These pictures are from our photographer, Sarah Foley. I can give you her contact information if you are interested.

One of my bridesmaids actually had the backdrop printed for me. I just emailed her and I’ll let you know what I find out.

I just spoke with my bridesmaid and she doesn’t remember exactly but guesses it was about 36″W x 8′H. I hope this helps.

Could you ask your bridesmaid where she got it printed and how much it cost? We’d really appreciate it! Thank you :)

She actually had it printed for free at her work, they have a internal printing service. Sorry I know this doesn’t help.
