Mad Men

Today I was in a car for 5 1/2 hours.  Part of the 5 1/2 hours included rain and a car hydroplaning out of control on a bridge in front of us.  When I got home, I discovered that our cable provider’s recent channel lineup change resulted in the addition of AMC and specifically Mad Men.  Tonight AMC is showing a Viewer’s Choice Marathon of Season One episodes.  Next Monday, July 12th is the Viewer’s Choice Marathon of Season Two.  Monday July 19th is the Season Three Viewer’s Choice Marathon and the new season starts July 25th.

Tonight is a good end to my holiday weekend.

    3. I’ve heard wonderful things about this show from Danielle and Kyle. I’m going to make Kirby watch it with me soon, whether he likes it or not.

    4. I already do! The season one marathon got me hooked. It is such a great show. It sucks it comes on at the same time as True Blood.

    6. Kirby doesn’t usually go for character-driven shows. That’s the main reason he hated the last season of lost so much. I’ve heard that Mad Men is very character-driven, which I why I anticipate him disliking it.

    7. Yay for Mad Men. I just finished Season 3 on Netflix, so I am caught up as well. Cannot wait for the new season to start in a couple of weeks!
