It is hard to have a bad day when these beautiful sunflowers are growing in your backyard. My sunflowers are different from the more common and quite larger annual sunflowers, but I like them better and I will be able to enjoy them year after year. It was so nice of my neighbor to give me these beautiful flowers as seedlings. See them as seedlings here, a little bigger here and with tiny buds
Katie’s Bachelorette Party Weekend in Dahlonega, Georgia
A couple of weekends ago, I went wine tasting in Dahlonega, Georgia for my friend Katie Murphey's bachelorette party. I had so much fun. Dahlonega is very beautiful and the vineyards were amazing! Since it is only an hour from Atlanta, I would suggest everyone make this trip. Katie's Maid of Honor, Cristina Kinney, did an amazing job of planning our weekend. DIY Embroidered Rhino
My friend Jillian is having a baby and her Aunt Trudy is making her a baby quilt. They asked friends and family members to help out by embroidering a square each having a different animal. Garden Update
Just when I thought our garden was about to stop producing and wither away, it surprised me with these pretty bell peppers and this cute little eggplant.
