Oh to marry a Prince…
Remember YM Magazine? The Royal Wedding was so beautiful and these little royals are way too cute.
So I am kind of obsessed with the Royal Wedding. But in my defense I have been "stalking" Prince William since about 5th grade. It was then I realized that Princes were real and there was a very attractive young prince who was my age. I remember seeing...
Cotton District Arts Festival 2011
This past Saturday, Nikki Ballard and I had a booth at the Cotton District Arts Festival. This was our first year to have a booth and we had a blast. It was a pretty day, everyone was nice and complimentary and we sold more than we did at the Prairie Arts Festival. Overall it went really well and I am very proud of us. Our booth was really cute but unfortunately all of the photos I took were horrible. I am so thankful that Ben snapped a few here and there.
Easter Weekend
Yesterday, Ben and I got together with some close friends to grill out. We also dyed and decorated Easter eggs. It was pretty laid back and nice.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. I had a wonderful Easter weekend and the Cotton District Arts Festival was a blast as usual. I promise to share photos of our booth this...

DIY Product Packaging & Branding
The Cotton District Arts Festival is only 4 days away! I have been quite busy trying to finish up my notebooks, my display and my packaging. I recently ordered new rubber stamps with my brand name and Etsy address on them for my packaging and to stamp inside my notebooks.
So let me know what you think. Any feedback would be greatly...

Right after we first moved into our house, our yard flooded into our neighbor's yard and garage. Ben went over to introduce himself, help clean up and apologize. He returned with this painting. He said that she asked him if he liked it and mostly to be polite, he said yes. She went on to tell him that her daughter in law painted it and she hated it but had kept it up for years. We decided that we couldn't get rid of it. A year later I had an idea. Ben and...

Roses, Roses, Roses!
I really love that my roses are blooming. They are so pretty and smell so nice. And to think, I thought they were dying. I really need to learn patience in general, but especially in regards to...
Brunch in Bed is the best!
I had a fun long weekend. Yesterday morning my husband went to City Bagel with our house guests and when they returned he brought me my brunch in bed. My lazy sunday consisted of a wonderful brunch, a little Google reader catch up, a mini nap in my hammock and making a kite with Ben. I couldn't have asked for a better day or a better husband.
Ben is pretty great and he understands my need for City Bagel after a long night. It's a fact, City Bagel...
