I try to avoid small towns in Alabama

This past weekend (11.20.09-11.22.09), a small group of my friends and I went camping at Dismals Canyon located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Northwest Alabama.  As a general rule I try to avoid small towns in Alabama.  I am not defending or explaining myself on this matter.  But my husband and I were invited on this particular trip and I decided what the hell a.
