At the Cotton District Arts Festival this year, my husband bought me a beautiful  handmade headband  by Molly Gee Designs.   The designer Molly Waggener is delightful.   I was instantly drawn to her booth because her display was lovely.  I must have asked her ten questions about her designs and her business.   Molly was really friendly and didn't seem bothered by me at all.  Oh did I mention she is from Mississippi.  I love that about her. On December 17th a study released in the journal Science revealed that a person's view of their own happiness closely correlates to studies objectively measuring each states' quality of life based on factors such as temperature, sunshine, crime, cost of living, etc.  Read the whole article here. Since my friend John bought me a white pumpkin from a pumpkin patch in Caledonia, Mississippi for Halloween, I decided that this year I would actually carve a pumpkin.  Every year we talk about carving one but thus far it has not happened.
